All our mask filters are made from synthetic material. They have a MERV rating of 12. Having a filter in your mask can give a wearer extra protection, as filters help to reduce the introduction of contaminants into the human respiratory system, which includes smoke, lint, household dust, pollen, cough and sneeze debris, and bacteria and viruses.
It is important to wear your mask so that it completely covers the face from the nose to underneath the chin. Always place the mask over the mouth and the nose, and always be sure when you put it on or take it off, that you do not touch the covering, but only the ear straps.
One of our air filters lasts for 50-70 hours of use.
